I had a blast last night at Blairally Vintage Arcade. Seeing walls of Pinball Machines brought back childhood memories. I saw Sweater For An Astronaut and they slapped! There was delicious Dark Beer on tap at an affordable price. Local shows are the very best and I appreciate seeing a show on a Thursday. The Whiteaker Neighborhood is a cool place to hang out.

Went here last night in the early opening hours with my boyfriend, had a really nice time! Vibe is definitely on the down-low but still plenty of personality, interesting arcade layout, and as a pinball nerd I absolutely loved the selection they had, I was very surprised to see the 70th anniversary edition Godzilla pinball machine they had and I was absolutely glued to that thing. Games are also really well priced and you can get a ton of plays out of just 20 on a game card. In terms of service and food, the bartender was very kind, if I had physical cash at the time I would have tipped them if I could. I was not expecting the food here to be as good as it was for a down-low pub, but it was amazing. I had the chicken tenders and fries, and I have tried a lot of places that offer chicken tenders, and this place ranks among one of my favorites. I'll also have to try their jojos and pizza at some point. I'm sober and very picky so I don't drink much but my boyfriend had some mocktails and he said they were great. It's very interesting to read past reviews and note that the spot may not be completely queer accepting, I hope that's not the case because this does seem like a really nice place to hang out at. My boyfriend and I did not experience anything that seemed like homophobia, or anything close to 'weird looks' but to be fair we do look hella butch and don't act overly flambouyant or anything. Maybe I'll take my brother here next time I come and see what happens, if anything does I'll update this review. Overall though, from first impressions, great vibe, great games, great food, would absolutely come again. :D

Blair Alley has some great classic arcade games and a good food selection. Their venue is fun and engaging and larger outside shows fit well.
